Our programs provide alternative paths to mental health careers, as well as courses meeting professional Continuing Education requirements. Many students from all backgrounds — educators, clergy, medical professionals, counselors, veterans and more — not seeking a degree or certification take classes to build clinical skills or for personal growth.

Earn state certification as a psychoanalyst. The program consists of academic coursework, supervised clinical practice and personal analysis to prepare students to enter the profession of psychoanalysis at the most advanced level.

Distance Learning

At ACAP, long distance learning is a method of participation in courses, classes, and supervision offered locally for individuals whose distance from the center would otherwise preclude them from training. Long distance learning has been offered at ACAP since 1995.  Current enrollees are in the U. S., Europe, Asia, and Australia.
